Long, long ago… in a galaxy far, far away…
Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game was an RPG that was created by West End Games and originally published in 1987 until 1999. Stealing a bit from wikipedia:
Lucasfilm considered the West End Games’ Star Wars sourcebooks so authoritative that when Timothy Zahn was hired to write what became the Thrawn trilogy, he was sent a box of West End Games Star Wars books and directed to base his novel on the background material presented within. By the end of the game’s run around 140 sourcebook and adventure supplements were published for the game during its run through three editions.
The source books were recently reprinted by Fantasy Flight Games, along with some homebrew rules found online.
In Opposing Rolls inaugural first season, Nick welcomes out Samantha Stark from It’s All Been Done Radio Hour and comedians/improvisors Erik Sternberger and Stephen Woosley (aka Wooz) as they tackle all sorts of strange things in… Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.
